Lloyd E. Patton, Jr., 50, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital from complications of diabetes.

Lloyd was a 1986 graduate of Courtland High School and had previously worked at the CVS Distribution Center. He loved reading books, especially science fiction novels, playing Dungeons and Dragons and playing with his fur babies, Cosmo and Noah.

Lloyd is survived by his sister, Virginia Patton of Fredericksburg; his aunt, Eunice Patton of Falmouth; two uncles, Earl Kendall of Fredericksburg and James Kendall (Nannie) of Falmouth; and numerous cousins and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Patton, Sr. and Joy Kendall Patton.

Lloyd’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A private graveside service will be held in Hartwood Presbyterian Church Cemetery at a later date.

In Lloyd’s memory, his family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Friends of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library, P.O. Box 201, Fredericksburg, VA 22404.
